Day 2 First Day of Observation

Today is the first day of my observation.

In the morning, I observed that teachers fall in line and greet the students by placing their hands together and saying “Sawaddeeka” (for women) and “Sawaddeekrap” (for men). The students also placed their hands together, bowed their heads and greet the teachers with the same greetings.

They also observed punctuality in going to school. The students also took off their shoes and left it outside before entering the room.

I observed two Physics classes with the same teacher. I didn’t know the name of the teacher but I think and believe that he is a very good teacher. He explained the lessons very well. It is like observing a mother tongue class in the Philippines in which you do not understand what the teacher is saying and writing. But, I was able to understand it because of the content and teacher’s pedagogical skills.
