Day 26 Farewell Ceremony

Today is our Farewell Ceremony.

We, the SEA-TEACHERS from Philippines and Indonesia, received our certificates from Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage. We also received our portfolio and certificates of appreciation and participation in English Camp.

The SEA-TEACHERS from Indonesia in collaboration with the VRU student-teachers danced Thai and Indonesian dances and sang an Indonesian song. We, the Filipino SEA-TEACHERS, serenade them with our “harana” with the song Huling El Bimbo. The VRU students played traditional instruments and danced Fortune Cookies.

The ceremony was very melancholic and nostalgic. It is very hard to say “Goodbye” but it is better to say “Till we meet again” or “See you again.” I am very sad and emotional. I hate this feeling…

In the evening, we went to Future Park with our buddies and ate Thai foods in a Thai restaurant. Thanks to Nua and Pong for the treat.
